These firefighters fight the fire on the truck trailer using breathing apparatus.

A few meters from the Steinhöring/Ruhensdorf railway crossing, a truck trailer that was loaded with insulation material burned out.
Steinhöring - The driver of the truck noticed smoke on the trailer on Tuesday, February 6th while he was still driving on federal highway 304.
He steered his vehicle away from the main traffic artery in the direction of the “old B 304” in order not to endanger other road users, reports Alois Schatz from the Oberndorf fire department, who led the operation.
The burning insulation material that was loaded on the trailer caused heavy smoke.

Shortly before the Bärmühle railway crossing he stopped and began to throw the burning material from the trailer onto the road.
“He managed two pallets,” says Schatz.
The Oberndorf and Steinhöring fire departments were then at the scene and immediately started extinguishing the fire using breathing apparatus on the truck trailer, which had been loaded just a short time before the accident.

There was initially no information available about the cause of the fire.
The same applies to the amount of damage.
According to operations manager Schatz, a Steinhöringer firefighter sustained minor injuries.
