From the roof of the Jean-Dolent nursery school, located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, a 17-year-old young man catapults packages into the courtyard of the Santé prison.
The scene takes place during the night of Monday to Tuesday.
The individual was arrested by the 14th century anti-criminal brigade (BAC).
A frequent event, which also initiated an exchange in the Paris Council on Tuesday evening.
In 2023, “182 people were arrested for throwing packages within the premises of the establishment,” summarizes Élise Lavielle, representative of the police headquarters.

Opened in 1867, this prison underwent a major rehabilitation program in 2015 before reopening in 2019 with 708 places on the detention side.
“It had 1,200 inmates last September and 1,020 in January 2024,” explains Carine Petit, mayor (EELV) of the 14th century.
The semi-released area is also overcrowded by more than 140%.
