Highlights: RATP proposes to increase the salaries of its agents by 100 euros gross per month. This represents an average increase of 4.2% for all employees within the historical scope of RATP in Île-de-France. The measure would come in two stages with a first increase on June 1 followed by another on December 1. Employees will also be able to place more days of rest than before in a time savings account and monetize them. The group's first union filed a strike notice running from February 5 to September 9, covering the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

As part of mandatory annual negotiations, RATP management proposed an increase of 100 euros gross per month.

RATP has proposed an increase of 100 euros gross monthly to all its agents as part of the mandatory annual negotiations (NAO) for 2024, an offer rather favorably received by the unions who have until February 20 to sign the agreement.

Management has put on the table "an increase of 15 points for everyone, i.e. 100 euros gross monthly, or 1,300 euros gross over a full year", indicated the Régie in an internal document consulted by AFP.

This represents an average increase of 4.2% for all employees within the historical scope of RATP in Île-de-France, claims the public group.

This measure would come in two stages with a first increase on June 1 followed by another on December 1.

Employees will also be able to place more days of rest than before in a time savings account and monetize them.

FO-RATP, the group's second union, but first among metro drivers, said it would probably sign the agreement.

“We were heard”

“This represents an increase of more than 5% for low wages,” underlined the union’s general secretary, Laurent Djebali.

His organization demanded a salary increase of 15 index points while “the company initially proposed 4 points, or 0.9% increase”.

“We have been heard,” greeted Laurent Djebali.

For Unsa-RATP, “it’s a bit mixed,” its secretary general Arole Lamasse told AFP, deploring that the increase will not take place on January 1st.

The union will say whether or not it signs the agreement on Friday.

Finally, the CGT-RATP was unreachable.

The group's first union filed a strike notice running from February 5 to September 9, covering the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, to denounce "insufficient" salary measures.

He demands a salary increase of 50 index points “for all” and an indexation of salaries to inflation, as well as negotiations to move to 32 hours of weekly work.

If the agreement does not obtain the consent of a majority of the unions, “management reserves the possibility of adopting less favorable unilateral measures”, affirms the RATP.

The proposed measures represent a budgetary effort of 90 million euros, argues the public group.
