The police carried out a check on the B472 at Blomberg at night.

The police officers had a good nose when they checked a car with a Hungarian registration on the B472 near Blomberg at around 1.25 a.m. on Saturday night.

Bad Tölz - The driver, a 58-year-old Hungarian, showed a Ukrainian driver's license during the check.

This was recognized on the spot as a “total fake,” according to the police report.

When searching the car, the officers also found a total of 28 kilograms of copper cable in the trunk.

When asked about their origin, the man admitted that he had stolen them from a construction site.

The police prohibited the Hungarian from continuing his journey and the stolen goods were confiscated.
