The National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor's Office (Pnat) requested on Friday February 9 a first trial for financing terrorism against Lafarge and former managers for its activities in Syria until 2014, AFP learned on Friday from a source close to the case.
In total, in addition to Lafarge SA, now a subsidiary of Holcim, there are nine people, including former CEO Bruno Lafont, for whom the Pnat is requesting a trial before the criminal court.
Another aspect, relating to possible complicity in crimes against the humanity of society and punishable by criminal proceedings, is still under investigation.
