A drunk Mini driver caused several dangerous situations on the B2 near Mittenwald on Saturday (February 10th).

Luckily the police were able to stop the Italian before an accident happened.

Mittenwald - As the Garmisch police report, there were several dangerous driving maneuvers by a light gray Mini on the B2 between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mittenwald on Saturday around 10 a.m.

The car with Italian registration was traveling south on the federal highway.

The car repeatedly attracted the attention of the road users behind it because it drove in strong snaking lines.

The oncoming traffic obviously had to brake several times to avoid a collision, according to the police.

The 48-year-old Italian driver was stopped by a patrol from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen police station.

According to police, a breath alcohol test was positive and the driver had to go to the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Clinic to have a blood sample taken.

An investigation was initiated against the 48-year-old for endangering road traffic.

Injured road users who were on the federal highway at the time of the crime and had to avoid the serpentine driver are asked to contact the Garmisch-Partenkirchen police on
