Anny Duperey wanted to clarify and correct her comments after defending Jacques Doillon and Benoît Jacquot on RTL on Saturday.
The actress was invited to react to the accusations made by Judith Godrèche against the two directors targeted by a complaint for rape of a minor under 15 years old.

Anny Duperey was alarmed by “
a late witch hunt”.
“I'm going to get hit, but I think that all of this is extremely exaggerated,
” she added, referring to the comments of Judith Godrèche against her ex-partner, Benoît Jacquot, 25 years her senior, with whom she was in a relationship at age 14.

Even six years with a director... Under the influence, I'm willing, but still consenting, right?
I don’t really know what to think of this thing, but I don’t really like these witch hunts,”
declared Anny Duperey, who affirmed that she had never suffered inappropriate behavior on a film set.

Maybe I was lucky because I was, because of my personal history with the death of my parents, a kind of survivor, no one was likely to attack me.
That’s how it is, I didn’t have the profile of a victim
,” she tried to justify, before calling for nuance and distinction between the works and the men who produce them.

Among them, Alexandra Lamy posted a scathing response on social networks.
“They’re not witches, they’re rapists,”
the actress explained.
Judith Godrèche also responded:
“No -Anny Duperey- It was us who got hit.
Despite your selfishness, your reversed morality, your ignorance, I do not wish this on you.
The shots hurt.”
In a press release, Anny Duperey hastened to temper her comments.
“What I wanted, very clumsily, I agree, because it is beneficial for the victims to finally express themselves after such a long silence, is to temper the media excitement
,” she assures.
“I would like to affirm that obviously I condemn any action of rape or abuse of seductive power – whether it takes place against adults and especially children or adolescents
,” adds the godmother of the SOS Children's Village association.

I have always ardently defended the cause of women, personally and by participating in a number of demonstrations in favor of this cause – for which there is still so much to do
,” assures Anny Duperey, recalling that she has been
“ one of the first signatories”
for the release of Jacqueline Sauvage, a woman victim of domestic violence convicted and then pardoned by François Hollande after killing her violent husband.
