Highlights: Over 3 thousand companies and 67 countries at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna - Lifestyle. From 21 to 24 March the fair dedicated to the cosmetics industry. Over 70 speakers are expected, representatives of market and trend analysis agencies, brands and media from all over the world. The event will be able to count on the collaboration with Cosmetica Italia - National Association of Cosmetic Companies, while the support of national trade associations, such as Cna-National Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium Enterprises.

With over 3 thousand companies from 67 countries having confirmed their presence (+4% compared to 2023), Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is preparing to celebrate its fifty-fifth edition, open to the public from 21 to 24 March and presented today in Milan.

Characterizing 2024, the percentage of new exhibitors (35% of the total) and the participation of 30 national pavilions which will bring to Cosmoprof the best of production from Australia, China, Korea, France, Germany, Japan, Greece, India, Indonesia , Ireland, Latvia, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, UK, Taiwan Region, Czech Republic, Romania, Turkey, USA.

New compared to last year, the presence of Estonia, Norway, Pacific Island, Palestine and Singapore.

From September to today, the Cosmoprof site has recorded over 1.7 million views from approximately 217 countries and branches around the world, recording an increase in traffic in terms of users of +204% compared to the last edition.

Thanks also to the early activation of the online ticket office, to date there are over 110 countries of origin of visitors already registered for the event.

The collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and with Ice - Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies - will also facilitate the participation of over 90 delegations with the most important importers, distributors and retailers.

All pavilions will open on the same day, Thursday 21 March.

Cosmopack and Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics, special areas dedicated to product focuses, will be open until Saturday 23 March, while the pavilions dedicated to the professional channel of Cosmo Hair Nail & Beauty Salon will close on Sunday 24 March.

At the Service Center, the beating heart of the event, CosmoTalks events return from Thursday 21st to Saturday 23rd, to share insights, inspirations and future strategies to address the most current problems for the cosmetics industry.

Over 70 speakers are expected, representatives of market and trend analysis agencies, brands and media from all over the world, who will discuss the state of the art of the industry and its future evolution.

Among the themes of the 2024 edition, new trends, high-tech solutions and the impact of AI on the industry, the circularity of the cosmetics supply chain, sustainable and innovative ingredients and raw materials, analysis of the new balances of the beauty market in China, the evolution of retail in the USA, the influence of the pro-ageing approach of consumers, the opportunities and beauty scenarios in Africa.

The event will be able to count on the collaboration with Cosmetica Italia - National Association of Cosmetic Companies, while the support of national trade associations, such as Cna-National Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium Enterprises, Confartigianato and Camera Italiana dell'acconciatura, will be fundamental for the involvement of beauticians and hairdressers in Bologna.
