A car fell into the Ill, in Strasbourg, and the bodies of two young men were recovered from the river which crosses the Alsatian capital, according to firefighters, cited by AFP.
The latter were warned around 5:30 a.m. Thursday by a person who had seen a broken barrier and a car in the water at the Maire Kuss bridge, in downtown Strasbourg.
Divers recovered a 20-year-old man and a 25-year-old man who
“were declared dead
,” firefighters told AFP.
Thirteen firefighters were mobilized in this operation.
