At the entrance to the town of Louvres, a 2 CV sits on a flowery mound.
It is neither an advertisement for a garage, nor a work of art by some contemporary artist, but a tribute to one of his illustrious children.
Installed by the municipality since 2009, its presence obviously owes nothing to chance.
130 years ago this year, André Lefebvre was born in this commune of Val-d'Oise, a formidable engineer and one of the fathers of this legendary Citroën model in 1939 but also of front-wheel drive, in 1934, the Tub in 1939 or the famous DS, in 1955.
