Malta in February – what a holiday now has to offer

Although February is one of the coldest months on the island of Malta, it is still comparatively warm.

The average maximum temperature is 15 degrees, but according to weather reports the temperatures are currently slightly higher (as of February 6th).

The island of Gozo belongs to the archipelago of the Republic of Malta.

A beach holiday isn't necessarily possible, but the island is wonderful to explore when the weather is pleasant.

A holiday in Sardinia is a good idea even in winter

Sardinia also has a maximum of 15 degrees in February.

A wonderful opportunity to explore the city of Cagliari in the south of the island or to experience the beautiful landscape of untouched forests and impressive mountains.

Holidaymakers who go to Cyprus in February can enjoy temperatures of up to 18 degrees.

The temperatures are currently reaching just over 20 degrees (as of February 6th), so you can completely leave the cold in Germany behind you.

Those interested in culture will get their money's worth in the port city of Larnaca: over the centuries it was dominated by Persians, Romans, Venetians, Ottomans and British - all of this is reflected in the cityscape, for example in the Lazarus Church or the Hala Sultan Tekke Mosque .

There is also no shortage of beaches near Larnaca: swimming is possible with water temperatures of around 17 degrees in February, but it is still a bit cold.
