A major operation in the middle of the afternoon.
This Wednesday, the police took over Avenue Jules-Uhry, in the Creil station area (Oise).
Dog brigade, police in uniform and in civilian clothes... The device was deployed in the city center, a few meters from several busy stores.
Equipped with a battering ram, a police officer forced the door of a residential building, under the eyes of shopkeepers and local residents.
“They came from everywhere.
Operations like that, I have the impression that they happen all the time,” notes a passerby.
“Me, I just came from work, I don't need to know what's going on,” cuts in a bar customer, although very attentive to the police ballet.
Law enforcement cars were parked at different levels of the street, while identity checks were ordered.
At least three men arrested were escorted on foot for a few dozen meters, before being put in a van.
“What a fucking rotten world!”
» exclaims a lady, who deplores the arrests.
