There are fewer and fewer cars in Greater Paris!
This may not be obvious to motorists faced with the inextricable daily rush hour traffic jams in and around the capital.
However, this is the arithmetically incontestable conclusion of the report recently published by the Parisian Urban Planning Workshop (Apur).
The organization, which used official registration data in the 131 municipalities of the metropolis (Paris, all the cities of the three departments of the inner suburbs, six municipalities of Essonne and Argenteuil, in Val-d'Oise ), put the number of vehicles that disappeared from the road in 2023 at 37,355.
