This time, Benjamin Netanyahu does not want to be alone on stage.
While the American Administration no longer hides its wish to unilaterally recognize a State of Palestine, the Israeli Prime Minister seeks to put up a front by creating as large a bloc as possible around him.
We already knew he was opposed to any decision in favor of the existence of a Palestinian state coming from abroad.
In a post on X late last week, he issued a statement reiterating this position.
“Israel categorically rejects international dictates regarding a permanent settlement with the Palestinians,”
it reads

Such an arrangement can only be obtained through direct negotiations between the parties, without preconditions.
Israel will continue to oppose unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state.”
Such a measure is presented as
