At an online information event about the wind farm in Forstenrieder Park, citizens will find out how they can get involved in the project.
District
- With the submission of their application for the construction of six wind turbines in Forstenrieder Park, the communities of Baierbrunn, Neuried, Pullach and Schäftlarn have taken a significant step towards the realization of the project this month.
An online information event on Thursday, February 29th from 7 p.m. will explain what happens next, what further hurdles need to be overcome and how citizens can participate in the facilities if the project is approved.
Forms of citizen participation
First, Peter Beermann, Managing Director of Beermann Energiesysteme GmbH and Windkümmerer for Upper Bavaria, will explain the current status of the project and give a rough overview of the further timeline of the project.
Helmut Mangold, managing director of the recently founded Bürgerwindpark Forstenrieder Park Verwaltungs GmbH, will then provide information about the possible forms of citizen participation, because the project is intended to involve citizens not only indirectly through the municipalities' shares, but also directly through their own financial shares in the systems .
Register: Event limited to 500 participants
Katharina Habersbrunner presents another form of citizen participation that is considered in this project.
The deputy chairwoman of the citizens' energy cooperative BENG eG explains the cooperative approach through which citizens outside the four communities of Baierbrunn, Neuried, Pullach and Schäftlarn can also be involved in the project.
For technical reasons, the number of participants in this online event is limited to 500 people.
The offer is free of charge.
Registration is possible at: www.energieagentur-ebe-m.de/forstenrieder_park.
