The federal Justice ruled in favor of Ignacio Torres, governor of Chubut, and urged the national government to
refrain from cutting or removing transportation subsidies in the provinces

The decision of the Federal Court of Rawson No. 1 is the first judicial setback to the national government due to the elimination of funds from the
Interior Compensation Fund
, an initiative that caused a stir and would take bus tickets above 1,000 pesos.
Judge Hugo Ricardo Sastre decided to grant the "self-satisfactory measure" requested by Torres against "the National State - National Executive Branch - Ministry of Transportation."
Thus, it ordered that the Nation "refrain from dictating and/or executing any act that seeks the elimination and/or reduction of the Interior Compensation Fund with significance in urban and suburban passenger transportation in the jurisdiction of the province of Chubut."
