The group recorded an increase in regulated assets of 42.21 billion euros (+8%) and a greater renewable energy capacity of 42,187 MW. The group announced this in a press release.


    Total assets exceed 150 billion euros, and the proposed dividend is 0.55 euros/share, with an increase of 10.8%.

Cash generation reached 11.1 billion euros (+8%).

For 2024 the prospects are for net profit growth of 5-7%.


    Networks and offshore wind are the main drivers of the record annual investment of 11.38 billion euros across all geographical areas (33.5 billion euros in the last three years).

Investments in networks increased by 11%, to 5.2 billion euros, bringing the total asset to 42.21 billion euros (+8%).

Renewable capacity reached 42,187 MW (+8%): another 3,250 MW were installed in 2023, with a total associated investment of over 5 billion euros (60% in offshore wind and hydroelectric).


    Commenting on the results, Ignacio Galán, Executive Chairman of Iberdrola, said: "In a year characterized by difficult macroeconomic conditions, we have once again maintained our consistent track record of maintaining our guidance, thanks to our integrated business model and our disciplined focus on investments and growth in stable markets. After a year of record investment, our increased financial strength allows us to continue to invest significantly in the energy transition in 2024. New grid investment frameworks and our offshore wind projects under construction will help us deliver strong growth and profitable for the current year."
