The Government announced that it will permanently close INADI
, in its plan to dismantle institutes that "are of no use," said the presidential spokesperson, Manuel Adorni, in his usual press conference.
"We are taking the first steps to advance in the dismantling of different institutes that are useless or are large boxes of politics. We are starting with the first: the INADI. We are beginning with its definitive closure. Of course, it takes a while. There is bureaucratic issues," the official explained.
Regarding the National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism, Adorni said that it currently had 400 employees and dozens of offices throughout the country.
And he warned: "These types of institutes have the peculiarity that they are run by officials of dubious suitability."
"
We are not going to continue financing political threads or places where political favors are paid
, or where there are dozens or hundreds of hierarchical positions that add up to nothing," he said.
