The police published this morning (Friday) regarding a false message (fake news) that was circulated in recent days on WhatsApp about terrorists masquerading as beggars with a religious Jewish appearance - this is a false message whose purpose is to cause panic in the public.
The police call on the public not to reply to these messages, to ignore the plan, to block the profile from which the message is sent and not to chain it further.
Report to the Israel Police any false message you receive on any platform you have.

Last month, the police warned against false messages sent in the name of the police commissioner in which the recipient of the message is invited for investigation on suspicion of committing a crime.
