A young man from Berlin was arrested at Munich Central Station because he was carrying several hundred grams of cocaine.

Munich - A 23-year-old Berliner was targeted by the Munich police on Tuesday (February 13).

At around 11:30 a.m., officers from Police Station 16 carried out an identity check at the main train station.

They discovered several hundred grams of cocaine in the young man's luggage.

They then temporarily arrested him.

As part of further investigations, the Munich I public prosecutor's office applied for a search warrant for the 23-year-old's apartment in Berlin.

The Munich district court approved the application and the Berlin State Criminal Police Office carried out the search.
