The governor of the Province of Buenos Aires,
Axel Kicillof
, was consulted at the press conference he held to respond to Javier Milei about the funding cuts that the Nation imposed on him regarding alternatives.
In that sense, this Monday they asked him about the
creation of a quasi-currency
to fill the budget gap.
And the provincial leader
did not rule out the measure
.
"Many responses of various kinds are being studied," he responded ambiguously.
After announcing that he will appeal to the Supreme Court of Justice to try to stop Javier Milei's decision to cut the Fiscal Strengthening Fund from the province of Buenos Aires, Kicillof was consulted about the possibility of
the provincial government issuing its own currency to settle their responsibilities
.
Kicillof avoided giving a specific answer, but did not rule out the initiative.

do not want and I do not resign myself to advancing in a kind of disintegration
that seems provoked and produced. They invite us to chaos,
to madness
, to do anything," responded the governor, leaving the door open to the return of quasi-currencies to the Province, a measure already established by his Peronist peer Ricardo Quintela in La Rioja.
Along these lines, he asked to "seek an institutional solution that does not imply the dissolution of our nation" and repeated:
"We will seek all possible measures."
"The answer is not, on the other hand, instruments that seem to be achieved through provocation, almost through the search for answers that do not correspond.
We are going to continue trying to do so within what is sensible, what is correct, what is adequate
," he concluded.
