What shocks this forty-year-old of Yemeni origin the most is the attitude of Joe Biden.
“He is committing genocide against the Palestinians,” by refusing to call for a ceasefire.
“And the most terrible thing is that the weapons he sends to Israel are financed with our tax money,” she protests.
This real estate agent from Dearborn, Michigan, took the lead in “Abandon Biden,” a campaign in the state that calls for a boycott of the president, during the Democratic primary on February 27, by voting blank, for one of his rivals or even for a Republican.
Joe Biden has little chance of losing the vote, for lack of a serious opponent.
But if the majority of the approximately 200,000 Arab-American voters in Michigan, one of the largest populations in the country, shun him, that's a bad sign for the Democrats.
