The counting operations relating to the regional elections in Sardinia in the polling stations must be completed within 12 hours of their start, i.e. by 7pm but the members of the polling stations will have more time available.
This is provided for in a circular from the Region which interprets the rule set out in the manual.
"In this regard, it is highlighted that the final deadline for the counting operations, set within 12 hours from their start, must be considered merely indicative - we read - Therefore, unless causes of force majeure intervene, the section electoral offices are required to complete all operations under its jurisdiction".
