Tickets sold like hotcakes.
Three weeks before the first of the seven dates given this year by the Zicos troupe in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois, none of the 3,500 places were available.
A first for these amateur singers who, since 2005, have given pride of place to French song and the greatest international hits.

“This year, I reserved 24 places,” she says, a yellow ticket in hand.
The previous times, I took between 15 and 20.” A long-time friend of the president of the association, the sixty-year-old who has already seen the troupe “seven or eight times” now plays the encore before each new show.
