Thomas Kingston
, one of the cousins of the late Queen Elizabeth II of England, was found dead this Sunday in a home in Gloucestershire, west of England, Buckingham Palace reported this Tuesday.
Kingston, 45, was the husband of Lady Gabriella Kingston, daughter of Prince Michael of Kent and in turn was close to Prince William, heir to the British crown.
Although there will be an investigation to determine the causes of his death, according to local media

According to Buckingham Palace spokespersons, King Charles III and Queen Camilla were "informed of Thomas' death and join Prince Michael of Kent and all those who knew him in mourning a much-loved member of the family." .
"In particular, Their Majesties send their deepest thoughts and prayers to Gabriella and the entire Kingston family," the palace source added.
Gabriella Kingston and her husband's parents, Martin and Jill Kingston, announced the death in an official statement in which they remembered Thomas as "an exceptional man who illuminated the lives of all who knew him."
They added that "
his death has been a great shock for the entire family
."
