They would never have imagined walking through the door of the National Assembly one day.
So, when they climbed the stairs and wandered through the maze of cozy corridors, their hearts accelerated, “impressed” as they were to enter “a symbol of the Republic”.
These women from working-class neighborhoods, mainly from Île-de-France, but also from Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), Montpellier (Hérault), Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), were interviewed this Monday afternoon, at the invitation of the deputy (LFI) of Val-de-Marne Rachel Keke.
