The European Chamber gave the green light to the law on nature restoration, which was in the balance until the last minutes before the vote.
The text was approved with 329 votes in favour, 275 against and 24 abstentions.
Shortly before, the Strasbourg Chamber had rejected the proposed direction of the provision put forward by the EPP.
The yes to the so-called Nature restoration law, in support of which Greta Thurnberg also arrived at the EP last July, was welcomed by the applause and embraces of the Green MEPs.
