Important paper for your professional future: the training contract.

Last year, more training contracts were concluded in the Munich district.
A good sign, is the conclusion of the IHK.
District
- The IHK for Munich and Upper Bavaria registered 1,346 new training contracts in the Munich district last year, an increase of 10.8 percent compared to 2022. “This is good news for our business location - especially in times of increasing labor shortages - and shows it “The great importance of our unique training system,” says Christoph Pfarrer, chairman of the IHK Munich-Land regional committee, in a press release.
The low number of students due to demographic reasons would mean that more and more companies are left empty-handed when looking for young talent.
These professions are particularly popular
According to the IHK, it is now in second place on the list of the most popular IHK training occupations in the Munich district with 148 new training contracts, close behind office management clerks (152 contracts).
For girls, office management clerk tops the ranking of the most popular training occupations, while for boys it is IT specialist.
In total there are more than 200 different IHK professions in which training can be completed.
Around 60 percent of all dual vocational training contracts in Upper Bavaria are concluded in the IHK sector, i.e. in industry, trade and the service sector.
In the Munich district there were around 880 active IHK training companies last year.
