The date and program for SAM 2024, the largest training fair in the Altlandkreis, have been set: On Wednesday, March 20th, from 1:30 p.m. in the Schongauer Lechsporthalle, there will be 82 companies, more than ever before.
Andreas Korn, head of the IHK office in Weilheim, praises the opportunity to get an overview.
“Everything is there together.” Quality is the winning argument at such events, says Roland Streim, managing director of the Oberland District Craft Association.
That's true at SAM.
The need for young trainees is great and the mix of opportunities for them in the region is attractive.
SAM 2024 in Schongau: “Trainees wanted like never before”
“Trainees are more sought after than ever,” says District Administrator Andrea Jochner-Weiß.
What she appreciates about SAM is that young professionals in their work clothes can also get into conversation with potential young future colleagues and chat at eye level.
Her wish: that parents also visit the SAM, as they are important companions when choosing a job.
Press spokeswoman Kathrin Grabmaier from the employment agency confirms this. Getting information together and gaining an overview of the multitude of options is invaluable.
It is important to prepare the young generation for the future as best as possible.
Meeting in person at SAM is a valuable opportunity for this.
This is how SAM 2023 went.
