Five indictments were issued today in Turin for the collapse of the crane on the construction site in via Genova which cost the lives of three workers on 18 December 2022.
The trial will open on December 4.
The defendants are managers and technicians of companies that carried out the work.
The families of the victims were compensated, with a total sum of one and a half million euros, and withdrew the civil action.
The civil action of a motorist passing by at the time of the crash, who suffered injuries, remains open.
However, for him the negotiations towards the definition of compensation are defined as "at a good stage".
A garrison of the 12 October Coordination gathered in front of the gates of the courthouse, made up of "family members of the massacres, associations, committees, organizations and trade union activists", to show solidarity with the relatives and colleagues of the deceased workers.
Among those present there were also the families of the victims of Viareggio.
