The new “Rosny toll” is taking shape.
The Paris-Normandie highway company (Sapn) is completing the installation of the gantry intended to replace the Buchelay toll, on the A13 motorway.
This work must be installed at night near Rosny-sur-Seine, a few steps from the rest area, in both directions of traffic.
Another, similar one, has just been built nearby but it only has technical use for the Sapn teams.
Their implementation does not change the habits of the approximately 60,000 motorists who stop every day in Buchelay to pay the obligatory 3 euros.
They will first have to continue to stop at the barriers.
It will only be next December that we will have to adopt new reflexes.
On this date, the Buchelay barriers will cease to operate.
The building will still be there but it will no longer be necessary to stop there.
The gantries will only come into service at that time as part of the “free flow” system.
The price will be strictly the same.
Several payment methods are provided.
Either after passing by going to the Sapn website and entering your license plate.
Either by creating a customer account linked to a credit card number so as not to have to repeat the maneuver.
It will also be possible to pay in partner tobacco shops.
As a reminder, the A14 motorway, also managed by Sapn, will be the first to switch to “free flow” mode.
The payment gate was installed last December.
It is due to enter service in June.
