There are 52 Italian 'hydrogen valleys' for the creation of which the government has allocated 500 million euros.
This is what was said during a conference on the occasion of 'Key - The Energy Transition Expo' in Rimini, organized by H2It, the Italian Hydrogen Association and Enea, in which the Ministry of the Environment, the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Puglia region.
In particular - it was explained - 50 million are reserved for 'flagship projects' of strategic importance for the regions, while the remaining 450 million for the production of hydrogen in abandoned industrial areas.
50% of the funds are allocated to projects in the South and on the Islands for a total of 225 million.
The regions with the most funded projects are Campania, with 6 projects, followed by Puglia (5) and Lombardy, Trentino-Alto Adige and Sicily (4).
