The students will furnish the new Pontorme school in Empoli (Florence), a 5.3 million project under construction which will host 10 classrooms.
The Municipality accepted the proposal of the Istitutocomrensivo Empoli est to set up a working group with the students of the current 'Jacopo Carrucci' school, asking them to imagine the interiors of the classrooms of the new complex.
Girls and boys, in particular those in the fifth A-B class, under the guidance of the teachers, built 3D models to describe their needs and imagine the classroom of their dreams.
The projects, the Municipality says, will actually provide inspiration for the purchase of furnishings.
The models were also exhibited at the Urp of the Municipality of Empoli.
An activity that has its roots in the training course on feeling good at school, held at the EmpoliEst Institute by Professor Donatella Fantozzi of the University of Pisa and which saw work carried out in synergy between teachers from lower secondary and primary schools.
