In a few days, the L'Ysieux intercommunal cinema in Fosses (Val-d'Oise) will close its doors for at least 18 months.

“It provides two rooms with 157 and 73 seats on two levels compared to a single room with 168 seats currently, to which is added a terrace allowing open-air screenings, all on almost the same space,” explains Olivier Millot, cultural director. and heritage of the Roissy-Pays-de-France agglomeration, community in charge of the equipment since 2019. Estimated cost of the project: 3.8 million euros excluding tax, of which approximately half are subsidies "from the department, the region, the State and the CNC (National Center for Cinema and Animated Images).”
