After a breathtaking race, Louison finally won the final duel of the fourth stage of season 18 of “Pékin Express”.
A victory which allowed his duo to qualify for the rest of the competition which will take place in Malaysia.
If the young man was obviously happy to continue the M6 adventure game, he did not hide his sadness at eliminating Patricia and Jessica at the same time.

The fourth stage was colorful for Louison and Ryad.
The previous week, the two men, who form the pair of unknowns, had lost the final duel but had been repealed because the stage was ultimately non-eliminatory.
As the regulations require, they ran the entire race of this new episode with a disadvantage given by Stéphane Rotenberg.
They had to travel with Ayu, an Indonesian woman, carrying a basket with durians, an Asian fruit which gives off a strong smell of cheese... It's not easy to hitchhike in these conditions!

A strategic choice
The two friends therefore logically finished in last position during this stage and had to participate in the final duel... for the fourth time in four shows.
To face them in this last challenge, they chose Patricia and Jessica.
A purely tactical decision initiated by Riyadh.
“For my part it’s a strategic choice because we understood that they were united
,” the latter explained on screen.
And if he seemed to take complete responsibility, this was less the case for Louison who displayed a certain guilt in announcing the news to the two women with whom he felt very close.
“I’m really sorry because I love you very much…”
he said to them after choosing them.

Embarrassment and excuses
This announcement left Patricia and Jessica in shock.
"I am disgusted.
I wouldn't have made that choice because we liked each other a lot.
Honestly, I didn't think they were going to choose us at all
,” declared Patricia before launching into the final duel against Louison.
At the end of a very tough test, the latter managed to come out on top, allowing his pair to qualify for the rest of the adventure.
Just after jumping into Ryad's arms, Louison, happy but embarrassed, immediately went to Jessica, apologizing again.
Sincerely sad to have chosen and then eliminated his two friends, the young man left a little surprise in Jessica and Patricia's bag as they left.
A nice touch that they discovered later.
“Louison immediately told us that he regretted it.
He was sad that we were leaving so he slipped us a little note in our bag, which I kept
