A chilling chorus, "rape, rape...", chanted by around thirty students on board a public transport bus driven by a female driver.

The episode, which dates back to about twenty days ago, is at the center of an investigation by the local police of Treviso.

Investigations were started immediately, because a municipal patrol was in the same vehicle at that moment.

The Mom bus - public transport company of the Treviso area - was traveling on the route between Conegliano and Pieve di Soligo, when around thirty children returning from school - explains the online site of the 'Corriere del Veneto' - started at they unison the chorus "rape, rape" at the driver's address.

A disconcerting episode, which Mom leaders immediately reported to the authorities.

It is not the first time that violence, bullying and verbal abuse have involved groups of students on board public service buses.

The president of the company, Giacomo Colladon, informed the Police Commissioner and Prefect of Treviso of the problem.

The company's staff, explained Colladon, do everything possible to ensure public order and tranquility for passengers, and the police are often present.

Such a worrying episode, however, had never happened.

President of the Mom Society, 'the parents' fault'

The story of the female driver of a bus of the Treviso public transport company Mobilità di Marca (Mobilità), joined by choirs of young passengers who chanted the slogan "rape rape", according to the president of the same Mom, Giacomo Colladon, it is attributable "to a very large extent to parents who are no longer parents".

"I am of a certain age - adds Colladon - and if I had committed something similar my father would have kicked me in the ass before even inquiring about the details of what happened. Instead here we are faced with absent families who do not teach respect for neighbor, when the neighbor is also the driver of the bus you are traveling on or the conductor who asks you to show your ticket".

The president of Mom highlights the great collaboration he is receiving from the police forces and local authorities, who immediately identified the thirty young people, almost all minors, who allegedly took part in the episode.

These would be children of families residing in the Pieve di Soligo area (Treviso).

As a company, he further said, "we cannot do much against behavior of this kind or other frequent attacks on our employees. We could try to refuse the renewal of subscriptions for a certain period but this would entail legal consequences for us.

Measures of limitation or expulsion, on the 'Daspo' model - concludes Colladon - can only be taken by the police".
