Craftsmen and farmers are currently complaining on social media because they were not allowed into the International Craft Fair.
Munich -
Two craftsmen from the “Hand in Hand for our Country” association describe in a video that they were banned from entering the building.
“We are not allowed to see the fair,” they claim.
Other craftsmen were searched or even expelled from the fair.
“Anyone who looks like a craftsman or farmer is not allowed in,” says a video that is being distributed on X (formerly Twitter) and WhatsApp.
Nina Gassauer, spokeswoman for the craft fair, vehemently rejects the allegations.
On Wednesday, around 40 farmers and craftsmen gathered for a registered demonstration at the northern entrance to the trade fair to protest against the traffic light government.
Then the participants headed to the halls.

“But there was no permission to demonstrate in the halls,” explains Gassauer.
The club had not submitted an application for this.
Participants with a day ticket were admitted and checked as usual, she says.
However, demonstration equipment such as high-visibility vests were not allowed in the hall.
“We have to ensure that the trade fair runs safely,” explains the spokeswoman.
For this reason, some participants who could have disrupted the process based on “reasonable assumptions” were banned from attending the event for one day.
According to Gassauer, the protest outside broke up after around an hour.
