Riccardo Simonetti is in the Phuket episode of the ZDF “Dream Ship”.
Now he is speaking at the Cologne meeting about his role and his experiences during filming.
Cologne – At Easter, the ZDF “dream ship” with hit icon Florian Silbereisen (42), who embodies Captain Max Parger, sets off again.
This time the crew is heading to Phuket (Thailand) and the showmaster also has exciting guests on board on this trip.
One of them is now talking about the shooting.
Riccardo Simonetti as an elephant veterinarian on the ZDF “Dream Ship”
It was announced in mid-February which celebrities would be guests on the ZDF “dream ship” for Florian Silbereisen’s Easter episode (March 31st).
Among them is entertainer Riccardo Simonetti (31), who is now telling us at the Cologne meeting what nice things he was able to do as part of his role.

The 31-year-old plays an elephant veterinarian in Phuket in “Dream Ship”.
“We filmed in an elephant rescue station where elephants that were previously in bad health are rescued and when you play a veterinarian like that, you get coaching so that you can move very confidently among these large animals, because you have a bond with them, you are their doctor and that’s how it should come across in the film,” said Riccardo Simonetti at the Cologne meeting.
Guests at the Easter episode of the ZDF “Dream Ship”
In addition to Riccardo Simonetti, TV chef Nelson Müller (45), actress Simone Thomalla (58) and “Polizeiruf 110” star Andreas Schmidt-Schaller (78) will also appear in the upcoming episode of the ZDF “Dream Ship”.
“It felt really cool”: Entertainer happy about “dream ship” experience
But how did the presenter perceive the filming overall?
“I thought it was a really great experience because the 'Dream Ship' is just such an institution that has been around for so long and being a part of it felt really cool,” says Simonetti, describing his experiences in the successful television series.
But there is another reason why he liked the role: “And it was also nice to need five minutes in the mask, I don't know anything else,” jokes Riccardo Simonetti, who in the role instead of a styled wavy mane only wears a tightly combed braid.

Fans of the “Dream Ship” and the entertainer can look forward to his appearance in the ZDF television series – but there is also a lot of criticism about the casting of the guest stars.
Many trained actors condemn the broadcaster for constantly bringing non-professional celebrities onto the “dream ship” for guest appearances.
