Maria Clara Groppler and dancer Mika have to leave the RTL show again after the first round of “Let’s Dance” – but why?
The comedian has a clear answer for this.
Cologne – After the opening episode of “Let's Dance” on February 23rd, the dance couples put together had to practice as hard as they could.
On Friday evening (March 1st), the couples competed against each other in the dance competition in front of the jury and the RTL viewers - and the first couple had to say goodbye again at the end of the show.
First it hit comedienne Maria Clara Groppler (24) and her dance partner Mikael Tatarkin (27) - and she doesn't seem particularly happy about her "Let's Dance" exit and is now shooting against the production.
“I'm going to cry first”: Maria Clara Groppler about “Let's Dance” being canceled
Professional dancer Christian Polanc (45), who is not in the professional squad this year, spoke about Maria Clara Groppler's appearance in the opening episode of "Let's Dance" in his podcast "Let's talk about dance".
He believes he noticed that the 24-year-old didn't seem happy about her partner assignment.
Was this ultimately reflected in her dance and was that why she had to pack her things after the first round?

Immediately after her show exit, the comedienne said in an interview with
RTL
: “When I'm out of here, I'll cry first” and her dance partner Mikael Tatarkin also can't understand her expulsion and says: “I think she's the most talented partner , who has ever been thrown out in the first round”.
But Maria Clara Groppler thinks she knows why the audience didn't call for her - and that was because she was portrayed unsympathetically by the production.
These stars are still dancing on “Let’s Dance” 2024
Included are Tony Bauer (28), Sophia Thiel (28), Stefano Zarrella (33), Biyon Kattilathu (39), Detlef Soost (53), Eva Padberg (44), Ann-Kathrin Bendixen (24), Lina Larissa Strahl (26), Jana Wosnitza (30), Lulu (32), Gabriel Kelly (22), Mark Keller (58) and Tillmann Schulz (34).
Production to blame for Groppler's “Let's Dance” exclusion?
“I'm very sad.
I was actually very happy with my performance and I trained really hard with Mika and continued training at home after the training.
The clip only showed moments in which I was being silly and there are so many comments on 'Let's Dance' that I simply had no ambition, even though I've been preparing for it for weeks.
It’s a shame that it was portrayed like that,” writes Maria Clara Groppler in her Instagram story about her “Let’s Dance” exit.

The 24-year-old continues: “The MAZ (editor's note: introduction video by Maria Clara Groppler and dancer Mika) was unfortunately cut very unpleasantly, but we had so many cool moments.”
Even “The Lions' Den” investor Tillman Schulz made it one round, although there was a falling out between “Let's Dance” juror Joachim Llambi and him before the show aired.
