Huge game at Maccabi: Maccabi Rishon Lezion returned tonight (Thursday) from a lag of 18 to an 84:86 victory over Hapoel Tel Aviv in a super important game for both teams.

Since the appointment of Danny Franco as the Reds coach, the team has looked better in both energies and basketball, but this is the third time it has dropped a big advantage in the final quarter and lost.

In the end at the bottom count wins and not ability.

Gabe York opened strong, Bar Timor was excellent at all stages of the game and even Justin Tillman who returned from injury provided some nice moves, but in Money Time the team suffocated, as if remembering the last two games and stopping functioning (12 points in the last 10 minutes).

Rishon LeZion continues to not look good this season, but bringing in Jeremy Fargo could change the season for her. The veteran guard was just one level above them all with 17 points and eight assists. Noam Dovrat was excellent at all stages of the game, and Daryl Monroe, Like Daryl Monroe, transcended just in time, Golan Gut made the difference that was barely felt for 39 minutes, then in the last minute scored a huge three and immediately afterwards snatched a critical ball that ensured the important victory that puts the Oranges strong into the playoff battle picture.
