For more than two months, Betar Jerusalem members have been holding talks and contacts with a group of investors regarding the acquisition of the group.
A source close to the details claimed that the offer in question was still lower than the requirements of owner Moshe Hogg and said: "There are no small gaps to close," but the very submission of the offer instilled some hope in the club.
The buyers signed a confidentiality agreement until the transaction was completed.
