A great achievement for the pair of skaters, who finished in 15th place in the short exercise stage and tomorrow will try to impress with the free exercise • Krasnopolsky is the second Olympic final in his career

A great achievement for the Israeli pair of skaters Yevgeny Krasnopolsky and Haley Kops, who reached the final of the Winter Olympics in Beijing today (Friday), after finishing the short exercise in 15th place.

Krasnopolsky, for whom this is the third time in a row in the games, is collaborating on the ice with Kops, who managed to achieve the criterion with him only three months after the years began to train together and it paid off for them, already in the first games together.

The years accumulated a score of 55.94 points in the short exercise, securing their place in the final stage of figure skating, where they will present their free exercise, with only the first 16 pairs qualifying for the final stage.

For Krasnopolsky, this is the second time in his career that he has advanced to the Olympic final, having also done so in Sochi 2014, when he collaborated with Andrea Davidovic when they finished in 15th place.

The final that will take place tomorrow will end the appearance of the successful Israeli delegation in the games, as the culmination came with the sixth place of the skier Barenbash (Bernie) Solush in the combined competition.
