Two more victories separate EHC Klostersee from winning the Bavarian championship.

Number one should be brought in on Friday in the home stadium against TEV Miesbach.

Grafing

– "In the end it's the logical finale.

The two most consistent teams over the season have now faced each other at least twice and at most three times," explained coach Dominik Quinlan a few days ago.

EHC Klostersee had just cleared the semi-final hurdle in Amberg and at the same time TEV Miesbach threw the Sharks from Kempten out of the current competition.

Like the semi-final series, the decisive playoff round with again "best of three" is a short one.

"It's just a bit different and more than the first and second leg.

So it's important to be wide awake from the first second and to remain as error-free as possible," emphasized head coach Quinlan before the start of the final games this Friday evening in the Grafinger Eisstadion (8 p.m.).

The second meeting takes place two days later in the “Miahelfnzam Stadium” in Miesbach (Sunday, 6 p.m.).

If a third duel were to become necessary, they would meet again in Grafing next Tuesday (8 p.m.).

If a third game is necessary, it will take place in Grafing on Tuesday

The Red-Whites are entitled to this small advantage due to their better performance in the upper intermediate round.

The EHC was a nuance better than the top favorite in the Bavarian Oberhaus, which all league club representatives had voted at the top of a survey before the start of the season.

If the Miesbachers still had to find each other in the main round and integrate the handful of higher-class new signings, there was only one win or one defeat between the two finalists in the final calculation of the promotion round.

Klostersee is missing the long-term injured Raphael Kaefer and Johannes Kroner

It will be just as close in the series as in the two previous direct meetings, Quinlan guesses: "Small things will decide in which direction a game moves.

Who makes the crucial mistake in certain phases, or has luck on their side.”

It is extremely important for his family to stay away from the penalty box.

"Miesbach has an extremely strong power play with the many experienced players and knows how to use it."

In the Grafingers, the long-term injured Raphael Kaefer (broken metatarsal) and Johannes Kroner (broken scaphoid) were sorely missed.

One hopes all the more for the use of Bob Wren, who left the ice injured towards the end of the first third on Sunday in Amberg.

The Canadian playmaker would also be one for what could be a crucial individual situation if the score was tight.
