  • The club officially announced the withdrawal.

  • We accompany the day of truth in the news ticker.

Update from March 24, 11:30 a.m.:

It's over, over!

Türkgücü Munich withdraws from playing in the 3rd division.

The association officially announced this immediately after the works meeting.

The press release in the wording:

“Turkgücü München Fußball GmbH & Co. KGaA has to stop playing in the 3rd division by the end of March 2022.

The club management in the presence of the provisional insolvency administrator Dr.

Max Liebig informed the team and the employees of the association this Thursday morning in a works meeting.

“It would only have been possible to continue gaming operations by providing new capital from third parties.

The expected income from the game operations until the end of the season will not be able to cover the running costs by a long shot," explains managing director Max Kothny: "Despite intensive efforts in the past few weeks, unfortunately no new investor could be found."

The high point deduction imposed on Türkgücü Munich by the DFB made the search for an investor even more difficult.

“The team has shown in the past few weeks that they have never given up.

This also impressed potential sponsors, who were ultimately deterred by the high risk of relegation as a result of the impending point deduction,” Kothny explains the unsuccessful search for a new sponsor.

Whether and in which league the Munich team will restart in the 2022/23 season will be decided in the coming weeks.

Update from March 24, 11:10 a.m .:

Should Türkgücü Munich withdraw from the 3rd division game today, this would have consequences for all clubs.

The Munich games would be removed from the rating.

What would hit the 1. FC Saarbrücken hard.

The Saarlanders would fall out of the promotion zone and would suddenly have TSV 1860 Munich breathing down their necks again.

The club is therefore keeping an eye on Munich, but of course cannot influence anything, a Saarbrücken spokesman confirms.

Update from March 24, 10:57 a.m .:

The Perlach-Nord district sports facility is now in the hot phase.

The works meeting of Türkgücü Munich is underway.

In the next hour it will be clear how the club will continue.

So far, those responsible have kept a low profile.

Observers see the chances that the game in the 3rd division can be maintained low.

Do the dead live longer?

Türkgücü Munich out of the 3rd division today?

Day of Truth for the Bankruptcy Club

First report from March 24, 9:53 a.m .:

Munich – Since the bankruptcy, the question marks have been piling up at Türkgücü Munich.

Players and employees are paid by the employment agency, and stadium rent and expenses for away trips are laboriously scraped together.

The first phase of the bankruptcy process ended at the end of March.

And maybe also the 3rd league for Türkgücü.

Türkgücü bankruptcy: are the lights going out today?

All news on the day of the decision in the ticker

The dice will be cast this Thursday: Insolvency administrator Max Liebing will present his prognosis for the club at a works meeting.

If the result is positive, the club can use all available funds to continue playing.

Otherwise, the lights on Heinrich-Wieland-Strasse will probably go out today.

What can the association expect from the works meeting today?

Apparently nobody really knows.

Coach Heraf and his players are apparently just as in the dark as the public.

"We players don't know anything.

It's wild in this club: no one knows what's going to happen next.

Nobody tells us anything,” reported a professional anonymously to the Munich “

AZ

”.

3rd league: Türkgücü Munich pauses training – does the Heraf-Elf no longer play a competitive game?

There doesn't seem to be much hope among the employees.

Heraf did not ask his team to train during the week of the works meeting.

At the weekend there is no game anyway, the 3rd division is in the international break.

Whether the team will resume training at all is now being decided.

A first official message from Türkgücü Munich is expected around noon.

Is the season over today?

It continues?

If yes, how long?

Everything is possible on Heinrich-Wieland-Strasse.

If the team plays at least one more competitive game, deregistration would have no consequences for the table.
