The Scotland-Ukraine 2022 World Cup play-off semi-final, postponed to March due to the Russian offensive, has been rescheduled for June 1 and its winner will face Wales on June 5 for a place in Qatar, announced Fifa on Thursday.

The Scotland-Ukraine match was due to take place at Hampden Park on March 24 but was postponed with the support of the Scottish FA, as most Ukraine internationals were deeply affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine which began in February.
