Happy 2:1 win for Lenggrieser SC in Peißenberg – coach Simon dissatisfied

Peißenberg/Lenggries – The Bavarian vocabulary gives a direct hit for Stefan Simon's state of mind: zwider.

"I haven't seen that kind of crap this year," said the coach of the Lenggrieser football team, dismissing the 2-1 win at TSV Peißenberg on Saturday as the weakest performance of the season so far.

The LSC still won the game and thus remains in the promotion race.

Still, because such a performance would be unworthy of the district league.

Happy 2:1 mandatory win

Everything started according to plan.

The guests controlled and dominated the game.

Jakob Gerg appeared half-right on the 16, aimed past keeper Moritz Diem, but was slowed down by the grass just before the goal line.

Shortly thereafter, the opening goal: Yasin Filiz could not be separated from the ball by shoving or tripping on the wing, handed it over to Thomas Fischhaber, whose cross Luis Jendrzej sunk in schoolbook style with a head – 1:0.

Peißenberg's compensation was an indication of carelessness in the LSC defense.

Ramon Messner took a long ball from Christoph Berner and, after turning around Sebastian Dix, put the ball in the goal corner as it fell.

Jendrzej countered what was happening with a dream goal to make it 1:2 – a long-range shot under the bar.

"It wasn't what we wanted"

But that was it with serious football that afternoon.

First, Peißenberg's Stefan Dietheuer was sent off at the end of a series of powerful attacks that all resulted in warnings.

But the Isarwinklers didn't know what to do with the majority.

"No dynamics, everything too slow," complains Simon.

Game shifts would have taken "too long".

And that against the third from last in the district league, which was also missing eight regulars.

In terms of football, Peißenberg offered "nothing at all", judged the LSC trainer, in order to immediately draw the bow to his team.

"But that just wasn't what we wanted." Detached from this, enough chances were created to bag the mandatory win early.

But Jendrzej hastily threw the ball over the bar, Fischhaber made the wrong decision on the counterattack.

Anxious in stoppage time

And then it almost happened: Paul Laß jumped a Peißenberger in the back after a corner - penalty for the hosts in the 93rd minute.

Berner went for it – the post, Berner had a margin – inside.

But there is this rule that the shooter is not allowed to play the ball again without external contact.

Half Peißenberg assured that goalie Maxi Kleim had his fingertips on it.

A not entirely unreasonable thesis, but the referee did not accept it and ended the game.

TSV Peißenberg - Lenggrieser SC 1:2 (1:2)

Goals: 0: 1 (19th) Jendrzej, 1: 1 (30th) Messner, 1: 2 (38th) Jendrzej – referee: Grimm (Schongau).

– Spectators: 120.

LSC: Kleim – Angermeier, Dix, M.Gerg, Reiser, Adlwarth, M.Gerg, Filiz, J.Gerg, Fischhaber, Jendrzej.

Substituted: Lass, Schnaderbeck, Hofer.
