The Attenkirchener SpVgg girls secured the next important victory at SV Dornach.
Dornach
– The Attenkirchener SpVgg girls went with a lot of team spirit to the next threesome.
As a guest at SV Dornach, they secured the next important victory for relegation in the district league in a "six-point game" with 1:2 (0:1).
Dream start for the guests: After five minutes, striker Verena Kiermeier single-handedly made it 1-0.
Shortly thereafter, the lead should have been extended directly, but the referee did not call a clear foul in the sixteen.
Despite this, the SpVgg ladies continued to present themselves as combative.
"As a team, we just gave it our all," says coach Alex Urban, whose team hit the bar in the first half.

After the restart, the game was more balanced, and after a corner you had to accept the 1:1 (45th) equalization.
But Verena Kiermeier secured the three points for SpVgg with her converted hand penalty to make it 1:2 (80th).
"For the next game I hope that many players will recover," says Alex Urban, who will be able to fall back on his red-suspended goalkeeper Anna Schreiner at FC Langengeisling next Sunday (2 p.m.).
