The last time Trabzonspor lifted the championship trophy in Turkey, Tony Nawakma was not yet born.
Yesterday (Saturday) the Nigerian striker, who also took Hapoel B'Shlosha out of difficult years of drought, celebrated with his friends the official win of the coveted title after 38 years. The humble along with his teammates who secured the win four rounds to the end of the season.

Anyway, Trabzonspor fans celebrated the title win all night as hundreds of thousands took to the streets, lighting candles, getting in cars and dancing until dawn.
Their celebration of course began even earlier in the stadium when they invaded the pitch to celebrate the title minutes before the end of the game.
After the grass sale was taken out and allowed the game to end, they once again burst onto the field, celebrated with the players, swung them on their shoulders and lit pyrotechnics.
