Lewandowski wants to leave: "History at Bayern is over"

Star striker Robert Lewandowski would like to leave FC Bayern immediately.

Recently, persistent rumors have been circulating about his future.

Munich/Gdansk – World footballer Robert Lewandowski is openly urging an immediate farewell to Bayern Munich.

"My story at FC Bayern is over.

I can't imagine another good cooperation," said the forward at a press conference of the Polish national team on Monday.

He hopes Bayern will not "keep him just because they can."

A transfer is the best solution for all sides.”

Lewandowski, whose contract runs until 2023, had previously flirted with a move to FC Barcelona.

"Spain is great," enthused the star player on the sidelines of the Formula 1 race in Monaco on the Polish TV station Eleven Sports PL.

"We have a house in Mallorca," Lewandowski continued, "the feeling for Spain is there, and I think it's a really good place - not just to go on vacation there." But also to play football there as early as summer if possible to play.

"It's hard to say if I'll still be playing for Bayern next season," said Lewandowski. "A move to Barca?

It depends on several factors.

I think my situation is clear and there's no point in talking about it..."

Lewandowski is currently vacationing on the Cote d'Azur in southern France.

Bayern had recently emphasized several times that they would not be able to give him away until next summer at the earliest.

Heavily indebted Barca are reportedly offering them a €32m fee.
