From the Premier League to the best league in the world?
Chinano Onoako, the star of Bnei Herzliya and the outstanding player of the season, will train during the summer with the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers, Israel Today learned for the first time.
Onoako, who led his team to a state cup win and playoff final, caught the eye of the NBA scouts during the season as well as some of the Euroleague teams.
Later this summer he will get a chance to show his abilities and will also be interviewed by the team from Massachusetts that is currently playing in the NBA final as well as the Cubs.
Onoako's goal is to get a summons for the summer league and maybe even after that for the teams' training camps that take place before the start of the season and from there players are selected to join the squads that will run during the season.
